Story & Final Verdict:
After Blockbuster Hit in Tamilnadu Ajiths VISWASAM dubbed in telugu as Viswasam only, let us look into the review Ajith who was well known for his versatile performance in vaali could not maintain that interest among telugu audience off the late, even his block buster films are lacking minimum attention here.. viswasam is no different, though it became a monstrous hit challenging the run of legendary baahubali2 tamil version in tamilnadu, it failed to raise any interest here which takes the major role in its failure. One may give many reasons for this starting from poor promotions & ending with its tamil version being available online just 3 days ahead of its telugu version release.
But if you look into the films plot, its a tried & tested formula for us in the past 2decades. To be precise it appears as if we're watching Megastar's Mrugaraju/Daddy in majority scenes of the core story around which the raw tamil native hero characterisation is written very intelligently, should laud the efforts of director Siva in giving it a dangals touch in the second half by bringing in athletics which inturn blends with the core plot of the film & gives it a conclusion.
Ajith rocked the floors with his ease & mass while nayan is just fantastic all the way, whether it be looks or performance. Comedy looks good in patches. Although the tunes are fantastic, pathetic lyrics makes the experience horrible for you as far as the telugu versions songs are concerned.
Bgm needs a special mention, though its quite loud at times grabs your attention all the time because of its crisp & perfect timing.. kudos to Imman. Though the film is pretty decent, because of its very routine story at least for Telugu Audience this is an average fare. Could've gone into masses well if promoted well but now that is out of equation as we are hardly looking at 15-20 ppl per show.
