Story & Final Verdict:
Akkineni Akhil and Hit Director Venky Atluri teamed up with successfull SVCC banner and titled Mr.Majnu, Lets look at the detailed review of Mr.Majnu Vikram Krishna called as Vikky (Akhil) is a chick magnet who flirts with every girl just with a wink. He was more like a playboy who doesn’t maintain a constant relationship with anyone. He meets Nikky (Nidhhi) one day and tries to flirts with her. Later, Nikky lusts after Vikky. It takes a breakup long for Vikky to realise about Nikky’s true love towards him & there starts the complex relationship between the two, is the rest of the story.
Akhil, after two failures desperately needed a hit to cement himself in the industry. He shines in this romantic entertainer as a playboy. His dances were awesome. Looked comfortable in fights & emotional scenes on screen. Niddhi has a long way to go, her acting should have been convincing enough. There’s no single boring moment in the first half of the film which was thoroughly entertaining & fresh. Songs were filmed fantastic. Some family scenes worked out well. The film turns predictable & routine in the latter part, that’s the major drawback. Priyadarshi & Hyper Aadhi has got a good place on screen with some funny oneliners. The film lacks the emotional connect & the emotions between the lead pair are not carried well. Thaman's music and George William's cinematography are simply two of the best aspects of Mr Majnu. With ages old story the film has got nothing new to showcase. Production values were top notch. Venky Atluri has done an okay job with the film. Editing could’ve been much better. This is definitely not Akhil’s best & he has to still wait for his much needed powerful success at the box office.
